people seem to be confusing "target foe's location" to mean "target location occupied by the foe you have selected but who isn't this spell's target". "target foe's location" literally means the location occupied by the foe you target. i don't see why this confusion arises but it certainly does. :/

since maelstrom is not a pbaoe spell it still needs a target,are u sure u did not have any ally with u on which mobs may have casted maelstrom,in order to be sure i will test it now

Edit:tested it ,u can not be targeted by maelstrom if u are under the efects of obsidian flesh,so if a spell contains ¨Target¨in it obsidian flesh will stop it from being casted on u.
